Hilary McClain THE HILARY MCCLAIN STORY

For more than 20 years, Hilary McClain has driven human resources strategies that align an organization's people needs to operational objectives. In 2009, Hilary opened her own consulting practice and leads a team of professionals in delivering initiatives to a wide range of organizations including non-profit, employee-owned, small employers, and large international corporations.

Prior to starting McClain Resources, Hilary held the position of Vice President of Internal Talent for MGM Resorts International. In this position, Hilary worked closely with operational leadership company-wide to develop systems and structures to support the continued growth of MGM Resorts International formally MGM MIRAGE. During her tenure, a critical priority for Internal Talent was the development and implementation of a company-wide system to inventory, track and expand employee skills and talents; measure and improve employee performance; and plan for succession. Hilary established the training and developmental framework for MGM University, as well as oversaw the Strategic Staffing & College Relations Department.

Hilary began her career with MGM Resorts International in 1993 at MGM Grand performing various duties within recruitment, benefits and training. At MGM Resorts, Hilary held various top HR Leadership positions such as Vice President of HR for Primm Valley Casino Resorts and the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.

Hilary also served as Corporate Director of Training for Station Casinos and Assistant Director of Human Resources for Harrah's in Reno.

Hilary has been involved with many volunteer organizations in Southern Nevada to include the Las Vegas Career Coaching Ministry and the School Community Partnership Advisory Council for the Clark County School District. She is also a past board member of the American Society of Training and Development, Las Vegas Chapter, Southern Nevada Workforce Investment Board, the Nevada Lodging Association and Surgance. Hilary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resources, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Melanie Walker MELANIE WALKER

Melanie is a leading human resources professional with over 15 years of senior-level experience in organizational strategy, leadership development and executive coaching. Throughout her career, Melanie has held positions as Director of Training for Station Casinos, Director of Employee Relations for Primm Valley Resorts, Director of Human Resources for The Mirage, Vice President of Human Resources at Excalibur and most recently, Vice President of Training and Development for MGM Resorts International.

Melanie started her coaching practice in 2012, EnergyRx and coaches' clients by providing honest support and tools to assist them in realizing their most productive, authentic relationships. She utilizes the powerful practice of core energy leadership that allows clients to gain clarity, focus and incredibly quick results.

Melanie holds an Associate of Arts degree from College of Southern Nevada, a Certificate in Human Resource Management from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and earned her designation as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC). She is also a Rapport Leadership Master Graduate.

Pamela Doherty PAMELA DOHERTY

Pamela Doherty has recently joined McClain Resources as support to the Human Resources consulting practice after completing a successful career of 30+ years in Human Resources within the Hospitality Industry. She has been exposed to and has gained significant knowledge of Human Resources strategies and business principles while serving in a number of generalist, specialist and senior management roles throughout her career.

Prior to McClain Resources, Pam most recently held a corporate position of Vice President Human Resources Administration for MGM Resorts International from 2008 to 2013. In this corporate position, her responsibilities included the development of a consolidated company-wide HR process for employment, HR systems, and personnel administration processes.

Pam started her career at MGM Resorts International in 1993 as part of the opening team at MGM Grand in the role of Compensation Administration Manager and advanced up to Assistant Vice President Human Resources prior to receiving a promotion and transfer to the Luxor Hotel & Casino in the role as Vice President Human Resources in 2005.

Prior to MGM Resorts International, Pam worked at Main Street Station as Personnel Manager, and held a position as Compensation Manager at organizations, to include; The Mirage, Las Vegas Hilton and The Sands Hotel & Casino. Her career in Las Vegas began at Summa Corporation where she held various personnel functions before assuming the role of Compensation Manager. Pam holds a CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification from the Word At Work Association.
